This Week

I am preparing for my first international track racing for the coming season and the first international event at my new home of training and racing; New Zealand’s Home of Cycling: The Avantidrome, in Cambridge NZ.

BikeNZ are presenting a three day UCI Class One event with featured countries including USA, Canada, Australia, Malaysia and of course us Kiwis.

There will be a range of both sprint and endurance events for elite women and men. I am racing in both Points Races, both Scratch Races and the Omnium – a testing event where points are gathered from six races to gain an overall winner, this is the first time this event will be raced in it’s new points format in New Zealand.

With a total of ten events in three days for me, and all the other racing, there will be plenty of action, so make sure your stop by and show your support!
